This was the mandate given to me in a song many years ago as I was traveling through India. It began as a ministry in a van on a dusty hot road, traveling from place to place and city to city. It finished with a serenade from the Lord filled with a mandate for the people of the world and the cry of their heart. God says in Exodus chapter 3;
Exodus 3:7-8 (New American Standard Bible)
The LORD said, “I have surely seen the affliction of My people who are in Egypt, and have given heed to their cry because of their taskmasters, for I am aware of their sufferings. So I have come down to deliver them from the power of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and spacious land, to a land flowing with milk and honey,…
The Lord sees our misery; He hears our cry and our suffering and He has come to rescue us.
The path which God began for me in Israel and continued with my trip to India will not finish until Jesus returns to gather His bride. It is God’s heart to set all of His people free from all the nations and it was in India that this burden rested on me as I looked at the people. A haunting melody rose within my heart and finished with the words of the above song and the birth of HeartCry International Ministries. God asked me to travel the nations and awaken the “morning stars” and call them to “Holy Convocation”.
The beginning of my call to awaken the nations with the songs of deliverance began with my own awakening. I was sitting in my room and I heard the voice of the Lord with a very loud and resounding voice; His words seemed endless and rang with authority. Afterward, as I ran and relayed the words to my husband, only one phrase could be remembered. It was the Great Commission.
Matthew 28:19-20(New American Standard Bible)
“Go therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
Through events which only God can bring about, I began to attend a meeting where a prophet was teaching. The longing to be in God’s anointed presence became so strong that I would drive hours to be there and hours back; I would serve in any way possible to just be in the atmosphere and learn about God. It was exhausting and time consuming, yet I was consumed by HIS love and an unrelenting desire to hear the voice of the Lord. Just as I became comfortable to sit and soak in the heavens with Jesus, God turned my life upside down. I was suddenly asked to lead worship at the meeting I was attending. I thought that they could not be speaking to me as I can never remember the words to songs. It just wasn’t possible, but God and the prophet would not take “no” for an answer. Me; the woman who just wanted to sit and soak became the worship leader with no words. A worship leader with no words was exactly what God was looking for. When I had nothing, God would fill my mouth with His words, HIS heart and it became the prophetic worship God desired. More of Him, less of me – this is where we need to be.
From a worship leader to the nations; this is when I began my travels to the middle-east, Europe, India and Israel. It is where I received HIS heart and He opened my heart to hear the cries of HIS people.The heavens declare the glory of God; The heavens proclaim the work of his hands. Create in me a pure heart, O God
God desires to bring his people from milk to meat to victory.
Hebrews 5:13-14 (New American Standard Bible) says this:
For everyone who partakes only of milk is not accustomed to the word of righteousness, for he is an infant. But solid food is for the mature, who because of practice have their senses trained to discern good and evil.
1 Peter 2:1-3 (New American Standard Bible)
Therefore, putting aside all malice and all deceit and hypocrisy and envy and all slander, like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation, if you have tasted the kindness of the Lord
The victory is knowing the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever. No matter what happens, no matter what we see or hear, we know we have victorious lives in Jesus the Messiah. He promised us the victory and the end is sweet.
The last song of deliverance I give you is the mandate of victory that is given to us through Jesus.He’s Given us VICTORY VICTORY He’s given us VICTORY, VIC-TOR-Y He’s given us Victory, Victory, Victory over the enemy The Lord has given us the vic-tor-y , victory over the enemy the lame shall walk and the blind shall see the brokenhearted shall be set free the mysteries from heaven have been revealed to me to set the captives free
Jesus died and rose again, so we would receive complete FREEDOM. He set us free and He has commissioned each of us to go forth and set the captives FREE. Freely we have received and freely we should give.
My heart’s desire is to see Freedom REIGN and that all men would listen and Hear the cries of the lost !
